Wearing the Children's Chorus Costume

All groups
|
Wear the Children’s Chorus T-shirt, red skirt or pants, red shoelaces, white shoes and socks.
|
|
Skirts (girls)
|
You sew skirt, or hire it done. Skirts look better 2” above the knee. If your skirt is shorter than this, consider trading in your skirt, or wearing red dance briefs underneath. (Remember they are up on the stage.)

Pants (boys)
|
You sew pants, or hire out. No elastic in the bottom of pants.
|
|
You buy
|
White tennis shoes (app. $15) and white ankle socks, rolled down twice. Don’t forget to put the red shoelaces in, instead of white.

Accessories
|
|
Showtime
|
Wears red suspenders. Single sequin band is pinned to center of back of skirt or pants, bring up over shoulders and pin inside skirt/pants. Girls wear suspender bows pinned on the outside of skirts and hair bow.

|
Sharp Sounds
|
Wear silver headband (or ponytail band), silver belt pinned to fit, capri leggings and 'no show' socks. Also wear the t-shirt, skirt and vest.

Pin belts and suspenders to fit your child.
You can trade new t-shirts for other sizes if necessary.
You decide how to wear the hair bow.
