Teen Harmony (advanced group) is done by audition with Rita.
Each week we do the following:
Basic vocal warm ups and diaphragm control.
Practice musicianship
Learn to sight-read music and intervals Book 2
Learn to read rhythms Book 2
Learn to harmonize and blend 2 pt, 3 pt. and SSA arrangements.
Meet weekly at Rita's home for 1 hour, group limited to 12 girls.
Pre-teen Harmony (beginning group) no audition necessary, but must be able to hold pitch. Must be at least 6th grade.
Each week we do the following:

Learn to start harmonizing 2 pt and SA arrangements
Meet weekly at Rita's home for 50 minutes, group limited to 12 girls.
Lessons are $55 per month.
Auditions are held during the summer, contact Rita to schedule an audition or for more information.
Goals
Help the girls learn to sing and blend as a choral group singing mixed harmony.

Music Knowledge (reading music and rhythm, ear training, vocal tone, blending, harmonizing, projection, diction, diaphragm breathing, performing)
Rehearsals are Mondays at Rita's home.
Pre-teen Harmony 4:15 - 5 pm
Teen Harmony 5:15 - 6:15

Auditions are set up privately and include the following
- A song of your choosing, to be sung acapella
- Range development
- Breath Control
- Harmony singing with Rita
- Ear Training
- Rhythm Reader
- Sightsinging
Cost
Tuition is $55 per month for Teen Harmony and Pre-teen Harmony.
Music fee is about $15 per session.
Sessions run Sept.-Dec., and Jan.-June
Recital
We will have a recital at the Piano Warehouse after each session.
